It is kind to ask someone to join you game because they might be lonely

And maybe they don't have any friends and they just want to play with someone

It is also kind to ask someone to join in your game because maybe they're friends aren't here today and want to join in a game

And finally it is also kind to ask someone to join in your game because they might be bored and just want to do something because they have nothing else to do

Are there any disadvantages when you are being kind?

There are quite a few disadvantages of being kind E.g. if you are kind to other people you might forget about being kind to yourself, or maybe people will come to you only when they need something/attract needy people.

And maybe a disadvantage when being kind could be, if someone was bullying someone, and you help them out, people might laugh at you because that person was not popular, nobody likes them or he is contempt

Contempt Definition: The feeling that a person or a thing is worthless or beneath consideration.
