Athletics

On Friday 1 of march the whole of my college went to the domain for athletics and my house colour was kauri/yellow. When we got there we had to line up in our classes then we went in our house tents, the first thing we did was the 1500 m run/walk, and I walked, then I went with all the year 7 and 8 boys my brother was with me too so the first thing we did was discuss there was a long line but when it was my turn I had to write my name down put my year level and my house colour then I threw the discuss, but it didn’t really go that far because i'm bad at discuss. Then it was finally over so we went to our next one and we did rugby ball throws we had to throw a rugby ball through a hula hoop but people kept pushing in front of me and I didn’t get a chance to do it because it was already over. So then we went to shot-put on this one I actually got a turn but when I threw it they said my foot was over the line so my throw didn’t count so then we went to high jump, they realised we didn’t have any lunch so we went to go have some lunch after that there was a long line and again I didn’t have a chance to get a turn, so then we went to long jump and I got a turn then I made a mistake so I didn’t really go that far then I got a second jump and then they said my toe was over the line, and then we went to sprints and then again I didn’t get a turn but I didn’t want a turn so then we did some other stuff like a dance competition and we went home.
